USER COMMUNITY

All successfully registered users will have access to the YMF Group (LE-York University Microfabrication Facility (YMF)) on Microsoft Teams which is a community for users to

• make equipment reservation
• view equipment manuals and operational instructions
• view lab policies, SOPs and regulations
• remotely access uploaded experimental data
• seek help from the administration team
• request services or provide suggestions
• discuss with other users on microfabrication recipes, ideas, facility operation etc.

Note: To request access to the YMF Group on Teams, external users must have a Microsoft account while York users can user their own YorkU Passport to log in.

ADDITIONAL TOOL ACCESS

For a registered user to access advanced tools (the UV mask aligner, the sputtering system, the ebeam evaporator or the RIE-PECVD ) that the person has not been trained for, please book a specific tool training session through the booking system.

After completion of the training, the equipment will be enabled in your account for future booking.
