Starting from 1st February 2024, a new fee cap of $1,000 per calendar month per group will be implemented. The cap is applicable to the total usage across all YMF facilities including the Thin Film Lab (BRG037), Photolithography Lab (PSE423) and tools in other locations, excluding chargeable services and certain materials.

Price of a film photomask is based on the size and the time for design translation and edition (if applicable). Follow the below flow chart for placing a photomask order.

YMF is a qualified laboratory under the MicroFAB Access program (formerly the CMC Microsystems MNT award). Academic researchers with an active FABrIC membership are eligible to apply for this funding, which covers up to 80% of microfabrication costs, to a maximum of $4,000.
